The "Impressionism" is an art movement that began in the 19th-century in Paris. The impressionists broke the rules of academic painting with their use of color and movement. They brought a fresh breath in art, moving the painting act from the studio to "en plain air" using new techniques in order to to achieve the effect of intense colour vibration.
